PT. Bank Mayapada International, Tbk was established on 7 September 1989 in Jakarta, ratified by the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Indonesia on 10 January 1990 and commercially operational on 16 March 1990. As of 23 March 1990, the Company officially became a commercial bank, followed by the license from Bank Indonesia as foreign exchange bank in 1993. In 1995, the Bank changed its name to PT. Bank Mayapada International, Tbk, then taking the go public initiative in 1997 and to present is known as PT. Bank Mayapada International, Tbk.
