Indonesian citizen, born in 1961 in Tanjung Enim and domiciled in Jakarta. Thomas Arifin earned Bachelor of Mathematics from Bandung Technology Institute in 1985, Bachelor of Accounting from Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung, in 1986, Bachelor of Economics from Indonesia University in 1990 and continued his studies at the European University, Toulouse, France to obtain an MBA in International Business in 1993.
Pursued a career as General Manager; Vice President, Risk Assets Management and Head of Investor Relations at PT Bank Bali Tbk, Jakarta (1994-1996), General Manager; First Vice President at PT Bank Bali Tbk, Los Angeles, United States (1997-2002), Integration Team Leader (2002) and Group Head; First Vice President, International Banking at PT Bank Bali Tbk, Jakarta (2002-2003), General Manager; Risk Management Group at PT Bank Permata Tbk, Jakarta (2003-2006), Managing Director at PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, Jakarta (2006 - 2011), Managing Director at PT Bank OCBCNISP Tbk, Jakarta (2011-2014), Lecturer senior; Faculty of Economics at Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung (2014-2015), Speaker, Writer, and Trainer; various public and internal seminars or trainings (2014-2015), and served as Managing Director at PT Bank ICBC Indonesia, Jakarta, Tbk (2015-2021). Currently Thomas Arifin is the Vice President Director of Bank Mayapada based on the Deed of the GMS No. 8 on 21 July 2021.
